THE RESTAURANT

MOSTO is located on the third floor of the Mediterranean style building in the newly opened Nali Patio in the heart of Sanlitun.

We are open seven days a week, serving lunch (12:00-15:00) and dinner (18:00-22:30). Reservations are appreciated: 10 5208 6030, but we welcome walk-ins!

While food is the focus, the interior design is an integral part of MOSTO. The day time setting is light and airy, while the evening ambience is warm, cozy and candlelit. Our candlelit brick wall, long bar and open kitchen create a casual, sophisticated atmosphere. A balcony, with seating for ten, overlooks the blue mosaic fountain in a charming courtyard garden with cascading bougainvillea. The main dining and bar area seats 50.

 

The Menu

The food at MOSTO is contemporary cuisine, with Latin influences. Emphasizing freshness, Chef Daniel has created a menu of seasonal dishes that reflect the best ingredients the season has to offer. At present expect starters such as Sea Bass Ceviche with Sweet Mashed Potato, Corn Foam and Squid Ink Tuilles, or Seared Japanese Sea Scallops with Shiitake, Onion Compote and Mojo Sauce. A selection of main course dishes include King Prawn Risottowith Bisque Sauce, Rum Orange and Parmesan Crisp, also Grilled Australian Rib-Eye Steak with Roasted Sweet Potato, Grilled Tomatoes and Chimichurri Sauce. The dessert menu includes Chocolate Soufflé with Molten White Chocolate Center, Raspberry Coulis and Szechuan Pepper Ice cream , and Hazelnut Parfait.
